Caulfield Zone Substation Temporary Transformer
We are installing a temporary transformer at our substation at 50 Neerim Road, Caulfield, to support the growing population and maintain a safe and reliable power supply to the area.
As part of our routine summer preparations, we have identified the need for additional electricity supply in this area to ensure reliable power throughout the warmer months.
We will install the temporary transformer in front of the existing substation building, where it will remain for 6 to 8 months.
In mid-2025, our team will return to the site to remove the temporary transformer, replant vegetation, and upgrade the existing transformers.
Throughout the works, you may notice some extra vehicle traffic in the area, including our employees and contractors parking on Neerim Road and surrounding streets.
